Hi
Hi, my name is Caleb Waltz. I recently discovered that there is at least one other Caleb Waltz in this world, so I decided I ought to jump on calebwaltz.com first. I suppose I'll just use it as my personal page, since I do no social media-ing.
I am currently pursuing a doctorate in Electrical and Computer Engineering at The Ohio State University. I am a researcher at the ElectroScience Laboratory, and my research is in the field of computational electromagnetics.
Projects
I am frequently engaged in extracurricular projects that have the side-effect of wasting my valuable time. As I pursue an advanced degree, it would be in my interest to not waste my time, but I can't seem to help it. I suppose this is a good space to document some of my adventures, if I can get around to it.
Some notable "projects" from the past include: learning various programming languages, hacking an Ikea bookshelf to make an entertainment center, writing a program to predict the outcome of college football games, candle making, learning keyboard (just to name a few).

I have a blog over at waltznet.net that I used to talk about the trip that Amanda (my beautiful longtime girlfriend) and I took at the end of 2009 in which we went to 5 college football bowl games on the West Coast. I haven't really added any entries since then, but I will (probably not).
